AUTHOR: Ferri
Both are classics - small, comprehensive winners. Ferri is more compact, but the Washington Manual is more comprehensive. Check them out at the bookstore and decide for yourself.
On Call: Principles and Protocols AUTHOR: Marshall and Ruedy
Good book for the medicine sub-internship, highly recommended by many students.
Manual of Admitting Orders and Therapeutics AUTHOR: Larson and Liles
Another good book for the medicine sub-internship. Go to the bookstore and check it out.
Diagnostic History and Physical Examination in Medicine, Medicine, Manual of HIV/AIDS Therapy, 2nd Edition AUTHOR: Current Clinical Strategies Series
All books in the Current Clinical Strategies series are winners, including thos written on other subjects such as Surgery, ICU, etc. These pocket size books are cheap and very user-friendly. AUTHOR: Rollings
As the name implies, this small blue booklet is chock full of useful facts and formulas.
The Sanford Guide to Antimicrobial, Therapy AUTHOR: Sanford Series
