Weight Training Recommended For Older Women

Doctors from the University of Maryland are recommending iron for older women. No, not iron supplements, iron pumping. They say weight training is a great way for older women to get stronger, prevent bone disease and fractures, and even lose weight.
They got a bunch of sixty-seven year olds to start hanging out at the gym and they ended up increasing their upper body strength by 47 percent and their lower body strength by 66 percent. Maybe you'll think twice about those numbers before you foolishly try to push an old granny off the Nautilaus. She'll whoop yer hide.
